Your webmaster can confirm that she did exist.  I met her at a few concerts in 1978. Her name was actually Sue Stevens. She eventually became the partner of Gerry Shephard (deceased) of the Glitter Band.

On their British tour they mention that at Dundee Caird Hall (1 May 1974) "hundreds of pounds worth of damage was done when over enthusiastic bouncers upset the crowd and the band weere forced to flee the hall".
